The Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation Human Rights Management Charter

The Busan Credit Guarantee Foundation has contributed and will continue to contribute to the economic development and growth of Busan and the economic independence of the common people by providing customized services that support the success of SMEs and small business owners.


The Foundation works for human rights management to realize social value in all business activities, and its human rights related principles and policies target all stakeholders that the Foundation can influence, including employees, partner financial institutions, and local small business owners.


The Foundation defines its responsibility to respect human rights and pledges to implement human rights management as follows.

  • One.

    The Foundation supports and complies with international standards and norms on human rights, such as the UN Basic Charter of Human Rights.

  • Two.

    The Foundation respects diversity and prohibits any discrimination in employment based on gender, age, race, disability, religion, political orientation, or region of origin.

  • Three.

    The Foundation respects the organization and activities of labor unions and guarantees freedom of association and collective bargaining.

  • Four.

    The Foundation prohibits child labor and forced labor, and complies with all labor principles recommended by the International Labor Organization (ILO) and ratified by the country in connection with health, safety, working hours, etc.

  • Five.

    The Foundation treats partner financial institutions fairly and support them in practicing human rights management in order to manage financial resources responsibly and provide smooth guarantees.

  • Six.

    The Foundation takes due and significant care to ensure that the human rights of local small business owners are not violated, and strives to ensure customer satisfaction and protect personal information.

  • Seven.

    The Foundation discloses its management information transparently, and guarantees the public and customers’ right to access information as much as possible.

  • Eight.

    The Foundation endeavors to prevent human rights violations from occurring in the course of its business, and to provide prompt and active relief when they occur.
