Function

Decision-making body to protect and promote the human rights of stakeholders, including employees

  • Matters pertaining to the establishment of a basic plan for human rights management
  • Matters pertaining to human rights improvement recommendations
  • Matters concerning relief measures for reported cases of human rights violations
  • Other matters necessary to protect and promote human rights
Composition

Internal members

  • Head of Management Planning Division, Head of Audit and Compliance Support Office, Head of Labor Union Branch

External members

  • Experts in related fields such as university professors, lawyers, labor attorneys, etc.
  • Litigation officials or employees of Busan Metropolitan City, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Busan City-funded institutions
  • Officials from cooperative financial institutions
  • A person who can represent local residents or local small business owners

2 years (can be reappointed once, internal committee members serve in the relevant position)
